At the Peace of Mind Planning Session we will book your Design Meeting. During the Design Meeting, you and Attorney Erik Newton (and potentially other advisors, like financial planners or tax accountants) discuss how your estate plan will be customized for your situation and goals.
Based on the information gathered and your stated goals at the Peace of Mind Planning Session, Attorney Erik Newton will draft an outline of your estate plan, determining which documents are necessary and how they will interconnect. At the same time, any unique requirements or wishes (like guardianship for minor children, specific bequests, or provisions for pets) will be discussed and incorporated.
The Design Meeting will usually conclude with an opportunity for you to ask any questions, clarify points of uncertainty, and discuss anything that may need further clarification before finalizing the plan. You can expect to leave with an understanding of the next steps, additional information you may need to gather, and the timeline for completing the estate planning process.
